The New Moon in Gemini occurs on 26th May, 2017 (with its zenith at 5.44am, Brisbane Time).  Although New Moon energy is focused during the following four weeks of its zenith, the intensity of the New Moon will be felt from the day before the zenith till the day after the zenith  Therefore, the energies will be magnified more than usual.

A new moon represents the end of one cycle and the beginning of a new 28-day cycle. The spiritual connection focus of this New Moon gives you an opportunity to spend time and/or renewing your beliefs and your relationship with the Divine.

Those who have Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces in their natal charts, will feel this New Moon significantly.

During the following four weeks influenced by this Gemini New Moon cycle, communication, travel, goals/ambition and dreams will be highlighted.  How this manifests for you may be subtle or may be an ‘in your face/are you taking notice of this’ situation.

This energy reminds me of the song by Pseudo Echo: “Are you listening?”  Notice during this energetic cycle how people and especially how you communicate.  There will be lots of sprouting off and shouting during this time.  Rather than allowing this to upset your applecart, endeavour to understand the motivation or intention behind each communication.  For yourself, try to be non-threatening, friendly and a good listener.

During this time, answers may be ‘just out of reach’ or you may also realise that there is no ‘one’ answer.. rather there are many roads which lead to Rome.

You may also notice that one minute, you are all Indiana Jones ready to take on the world with just a cocky hat and a whip.  Next minute, you wish to withdraw from your goals because they are too hard/slow/unattainable.  Try not to throw the baby out with the bathwater, during this cycle.  Give yourself time to BREATHE.. after all, Gemini is an Air sign!

━═★ Full Moon Blessings ★═━

The Full Moon in Scorpio on Thursday, 11th May 2017 has its zenith at 7:42am, Brisbane Time.

It will particularly heighten the energies of those who have Scorpio, Libra, Aries, Capricorn and Pisces in their natal chart.

Full Moons are also energetically connected to the previous New Moon’s goals, dreams and plans.  What did you put into motion two weeks ago?  This full moon brings an opportunity to heal and/or harvest what was sown.

━═★ What does that mean for you? ★═━

This Full Moon will be heightening intuitive abilities so that you may be aware of just HOW and WHY things stand.  You will find your focus turning towards Healing Thyself.  This may mean that each emotion you experience during this three day period will feel super-charged.  This is the Universe’s way of saying: Fix it, Henry, Fix it.  Call on all your Guides, Guardians, Super Heroes and Personal Power to help you get through this.  Most importantly, as always, stay grounded because you WILL need to discern between your monkeys and everyone else’s monkeys to help you get through this circus.

Having started with the “uh-oh” factor, this Full Moon has got sticking potential.. that healing completed during this time will LAST.  Choose wisely and from a place of strength rather than weakness.

Scorpio energy is an excellent time to cleanse and set intentions for positive relationships.

Preparation:

Choose a wish candle (these are about 10cm in height) – white is ideal!  However, choose a colour which speaks to you of love, respect and balance.

Place the candle in a holder (placing it on a flat mirror will intensify the intentions!).  Surround the holder by crystals (look to the list below for gridding) or just use clear quartz.

Surround this with salt or eucalyptus leaves.

At the time of the Full Moon:

If you can be outside in direct sight of the Moon, that’s great!  If not, that’s okay too.

Breathe deeply and light the candle.  Touch the flame to the candle three times, saying: “Protected by the Lord and Lady, Guided by the Lord and Lady, Blessed by the Lord and Lady
